What's the difference between a lens cover and a camera module?

The lens cover is the protective glass sitting over your camera — if it's cracked but your photos are still clear, you likely just need a lens cover replacement (more affordable). The camera module is the actual sensor and optics behind the glass — if photos are blurry, dark, or the camera won't open, the module itself may need replacing.

My photos are blurry — is it the lens or the camera?

It could be either. A scratched or cracked lens cover can cause haze and blur. A damaged camera module can cause focusing issues or image artefacts. Our free diagnostic will pinpoint exactly which component is at fault.

Will the replacement camera be as good as the original?
